The Lion Triclinium
The Lion Triclinium
Located on the way to Ad-Dayr the facade at the lion Triclinium is decorated with a frieze of triglyphs and metopes, with the head of Medusa at each end. There are three benches inside, and a baetyl in a niche is carved to the left of the doorway. It dates back to the first century AD and its name is due to thetwo lions carved at the base of the facade.
