The Sabra Acropolis
The Sabra Acropolis
Located to the west of Jabal Jathum and the theater, the Sabra Acropolis was accessed by a bridge across Wadi Al Muthaylija, a tributary of Wadi Sabra. A dam also constructed on the tributary. A monument surrounded by porticoes was designed as a temple on the 19th century. An architecture uncovered a paved floor with a colonnade, and retrieved a marble bust of an oriental Aphrodite dating back to the late Roman period.
