Jabal Harun Trail

Jabal Harun Trail (7hrs-8hrs)

Degree of difficulty: Difficult

Inside the ancient city of Petra, beyond the main attractions and the intricate façade, lies the tomb of Aaron, the brother of Moses. The white shrines are perched atop a high peak with spectacular views of the surrounding areas. Deemed a sacred place for pilgrimage, the trip to the tomb is worth the journey although it entails a tough climb to the top. The trail must be visited with a guide. You will walk along the main trail until you reach the theater, after which the trail takes a left behind the main route.

Warnings: Do not attempt this trail without a guide
